Founded in 2008, emediamax was the company and brand name for web design providing websites and all essentials at low prices. In 2009 the compan branded all it's commercial web design as thewebdepot.co.uk and in-corporated two new brands, communisite.co.uk focusing on community organisation websites and webhoststore.co.uk for selling hosting space and domain names. Following this in-corporation, emediamax then became the emediamax UK Group along with these three brands.

Today, the group still has three brands. communisite.co.uk was replaced with promomanager.co.uk which now focuses on graphic design and marketing services providing business branding, stationery and marketing material. Community projects are now handled through thewebdepot.co.uk with special community discounts and support provided.
